This year we plan on making the day a more interactive, fun learning experience. After the walk, mosey on over to the stands to grab yourself a delicious cup of coffee and a pastry (essential after physical excursion obvs)

Check out our programme for the day:

    • A sensory play area with sensory-integration occupational therapists to facilitate fun sensory play and answer questions on sensory issues.
Geppetto’s World will be setting up a simple ‘sensory obstacle course’ while the highly-trained therapists at Sensory Stars will teach you & your kids about sensory input and how it affects all aspects of our lives!
    • Our speaker is superwoman Desirae Pillay – mother to an autistic adult daughter, assistive technology advisor & autism expert at Inclusive Solutions and AAC advocate. This talk will inspire you and change your perception of autism and communication.
    • Need a quick crash-course in autism? Watch our carefully selected TED talks – some of which feature South African autists. These have been mindfully selected for simplicity, engagement and of course positive vibes (something we at Jozi4Autism take very seriously!)
    • Vendors will be selling yummy South African staples like samoosas, boerie rolls & koeksisters

Don’t forget to buy your tickets online soon!

See you all there…
